Ways to spend 1000 bucks and what you get from it – 

  • You can buy 2 dresses in a sale and get satisfaction in buying clothes whose future value is 0.
  • You can buy lunch for 2 and spend a nice afternoon with your loved one whose future value is a strong relationship.
  • You can watch a movie and have popcorn along with chicken nuggets which will entertain you for a while whose future value is again 0.
  • You can buy fruits and vegetables for a family of 4 to 5 for a week which will give you good health.
  • You can buy two Lakme lipsticks of different shades, which will give you options to wear different shades daily, again whose future value is 0.
  • You can spend that 1000 in a parlor and get a new look and feel good about yourself but again if you think the future value of which is 0.
  • You can buy 5 packets of cigarettes and invite cancer in the future for you.
  • You can spend this 1000 bucks in CCD and buy a coffee for 2 along with some light snacks and spend a good evening.

  • If you keep 1000 every month for the next 12 months in your cupboard you will be able to save 12,000 which will hold the value of Rs 6780 in 10 years, the value gets half.
  • If you keep 1000 every month in a bank for a year you will save Rs.12,000 whose value will be Rs 17,247 in the next 10 years.
  • If Rs 12,000 deposited in an FD for 10 years you will get approx. Rs 22,867.
  • Invested in a liquid fund for 12 months, amounts to Rs 12,000. Future value – in 10 years, worth Rs 22,916.

  • Invested in gold after 12 months of saving, amounts to Rs 12,000. Future value –in 10 years, worth Rs 24,068
  • Invested in a property after 12 months of saving, amounts to Rs 12,000. Future value – unlikely to have bought a property with Rs 12,000!
