Basic Details About The NFO…
- Fund Name- Kotak Multi-Cap Fund
- Type- A multi-cap open-ended equity scheme investing 25% of its assets each in large-cap, mid-cap, small-cap stocks.
- Subscription open date- 8th September 2021
- Subscription close date- 22nd September 2021
- Benchmark- Nifty 500 Multicap 50:25:25 Total Returns Index
- Minimum Amount for Application during NFO- Rs 5000 and in multiples of Rs 1 after that.
- Minimum Additional Purchase Amount- Rs 1000 and in multiples of Rs 1 after that.
- Plans- Both Direct and Regular Plans are available
- Options Available- Both Growth and Income Distribution Cum Capital Withdrawal Option (ICDW)
- Minimum SIP Installment- Rs. 500/- (Subject to a minimum of 10 SIP installments of Rs. 500/- each)
Investment Objective…….
The new NFO launched is a multi-cap open-ended equity scheme that predominantly invests 25% of its assets each in large-cap, mid-cap, small-cap stocks (as per the asset allocation rule for multi-cap funds by SEBI)
The scheme’s investment objective is to generate long-term capital appreciation from a portfolio of equity and equity-related securities across market capitalization. However, there can be no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved.

Exit Load Trends In The NFO……
The fund has no entry load however it has different terms for exit load listed below:
- There are no exit load charges for redemption or switch out of up to 10% of the initial investment amount purchased or switched within 1 year from the date of allotment of units.
- Exit Load equal to 1% of the sell value will be applicable if units are redeemed / switched-out are more than the limit within 1 year from the date of allotment of units.
- No exit load will be charged if units are redeemed or switched out on or after 1 year from the date of allotment of units.
Fund Managers Of The NFO…….
The fund managers appointed to manage the asset allocation in the new NFO are Mr. Harsha Upadhyaya, Mr. Devender Singhal, Mr. Abhishek Bison, Mr. Arjun Khanna
Mr. Harsha Upadhyaya- Mr. Harsha has nearly two decades of rich experience spread over Equity Research and Fund Management. His prior stints have been with DSP BlackRock, UTI Asset Management, Reliance Group, and SG Asia Securities.
Mr. Devender Singhal- Mr. Devender has been associated with the Kotak Group since July 2007. He is responsible for the research coverage of FMCG, Automobiles, and Media sectors at Kotak AMC since Feb 2009. Devender has an overall working experience of 14 years in equity research and fund management.
Mr. Abhishek Bisen- Mr. Abhishek has been associated with the company since October 2006, and his key responsibilities include fund management of debt schemes. Before joining Kotak AMC, Abhishek worked with Securities Trading Corporation Of India Ltd, where he was looking at Sales & Trading of Fixed Income Products apart from doing Portfolio Advisory.
Mr. Arjun Khanna- Mr. Arjun Khanna has over 10 years of experience in banking and financial companies. Before joining Kotak Asset Management Company Limited, he worked in equity research
