“SBI Mutual Fund House has recently launched a new fund offer for SBI Balanced Advantage Fund. The fund is open for subscription between August 12, 2021, and August 25, 2021.”

Basic Details About The NFO…

  • Fund Name- SBI Balanced Advantage Fund
  • Type- It is An open-ended dynamic asset allocation fund
  • Subscription open date- 12th August 2021
  • Subscription close date- 25th August 2021
  • Benchmark- CRISIL Hybrid 50+50 - Moderate Index TRI
  • Minimum Amount for Application during NFO- Rs 5000 and in multiples of Rs 1 after that.
  • Minimum Additional Purchase Amount- Rs 1000 and in multiples of Rs 1 after that.
  • Plans- Both Direct and Regular Plans are available
  • Min. SIP Amount- Rs 1,000 for a minimum of 6 months or minimum Rs 500 for a minimum of 12 months


Investment Objective…….

The new NFO launched is a hybrid category, balanced advantage fund, that aims to invest in both equity and debt funds to create a diversified portfolio.

The SBI Balanced Advantage Fund, aims to provide long-term capital appreciation/income from a dynamic mix of equity and debt investments to investors. However, there can be no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be realized.


Exit Load Trends In The NFO……

The fund has no entry load however it has different terms for exit load listed below:

  • If units purchased or switched in from another scheme of the Fund are redeemed or switched out, up to 10% of the units (the limit) purchased or switched on or before 1 year from the date of allotment, then there will be no exit load charged.
  • If units purchased or switched in from another scheme of the Fund are redeemed or switched out more than the limit on or before 1 year from the date of allotment, then an exit load equal to 1% of the applicable NAV will be charged.
  • If units purchased or switched in from another scheme of the Fund are redeemed or switched out after 1 year from the date of allotment, then no exit load will be charged.


Fund Managers Of The NFO…….

All the fund managers managing this NFO are experienced for more than 10 years. The fund managers for the equity portion are Mr. Gaurav Mehta and Mr. Dinesh Balachandran. For the debt portion, the fund manager appointed is Mr. Dinesh Ahuja. And Mr. Mohit Jain has been appointed as a fund manager for managing overseas investments.
